What is Renaissance ?

Renaissance is the term used to identify the period of European history approximately XIV century ends and early seventeenth century,the period was marked by changes in many areas of human life. Despite these changes are very evident in the culture , society, economy , politics and religion , characterizing the transition from feudalism to capitalism and mean a break with the medieval structures , the term is most commonly used to describe its effects in the arts , philosophy and in science . the term renaissance got its name because in his period there was an awakening ' of the classical world culture that valued humanism and nature.
The main characteristics of this movement were:
1- valorization of Greco-Roman culture for artists , possessed a complete and human view of nature , unlike the medieval men .
2- the most valued qualities of the period were the intelligence , knowledge and artistic flair.
